Dana Harrison

Vice President of Programs (2024-2026)


Dana E. Harrison is an Associate Dean of Research and Creative Activities, Interim Department Chair of Marketing, and Associate Professor of Marketing at East Tennessee State University. Her research has been published in reputable journals, including the Academy of Marketing Science ReviewJournal of Business Research, Journal of Product and Brand Management, and Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing. Dana is also a co-author of Essentials of Marketing Research (McGraw Hill), Essentials of Marketing Analytics (McGraw Hill), Analytics-Based Selling (Sage, under contract) and Integrated Marketing Communications (Sage, under contract).

Dana also serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice and sits on the editorial review boards of the Journal of Business Research and Journal of Marketing Education.

Since 2016, Dana has held various roles at AMS, including VP of Programs, Secretary, Director of Technology, and Data Management. She has also served as a co-developer and presenter for the Teaching Marketing Analytics Certificate Program and AI in Marketing Education Certificate Program. In 2023, she received the Harold & Muriel Berkman Faculty Development and Achievement Award.
